Fusion Technology had the honor of presenting our cutting-edge solution at the ICAO GNSS RFI Workshop 2025, hosted by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) in Doha, Qatar. The event took place at the Qatar Air Traffic Control Centre, drawing a distinguished audience of Civil Aviation Authorities, Airlines, Aircraft, and Technology Manufacturers from around the globe.
Michael Sammueller, representing Fusion Technology, took the stage to showcase the innovative "StratoCentral" solution. This groundbreaking technology, which began as an academic research project, was developed in collaboration with the QCAA, highlighting a strong partnership aimed at advancing aviation safety and efficiency.
Over a three-month testing period, Fusion Technology successfully demonstrated the capabilities of StratoCentral and the related StratoNode. The results underscored the growing need for robust monitoring and alerting solutions in the aviation industry. As pointed out by several attendees, the industry has traditionally been slow and reactive, but there is an increasing demand for it to become faster and more proactive.
The presentation was met with great interest and numerous questions from the audience, reflecting the potential impact of StratoCentral on the future of aviation. Fusion Technology's participation in the workshop marks a significant step forward in their mission to enhance aviation safety and operational efficiency.
